April 24th ~ 15 Minute Challenge

What a mess in my Sewing room Studio.  I always have a hard time referring to it as my Sewing Studio, but that is what it is.   Do you find it hard to refer to your creative area as a Sewing Studio, or do you call my Sewing Room or something else?  Need to get things - fabrics, threads and embellishment items sorted and put away.  Doesn't need to be perfect, I like some creative clutter but not the current mess.  Well, it might be another "Once in a Blue Moon" before it is ever so clean and organized again.

March 13th ~ 15 Minute Challenge

I'm fighting off a little cold I probably picked up at Puyallup, so I've been tired and moving rather slowly.  I spent Tuesday reading and sleeping.  I did get a little sewing/embroidery done, but not much, I kept jumping from one project to another.

March 6th ~ 15 Minute Challenge

I knew this week would not be a good sewing week.  Spending four days at Sew Expo and DH's Birthday not as much time spent in my sewing studio at all.  But I did get to sew, quilt and embroider in classes at Sew Exp and that was lots of fun.  I'm counting that time as part of my sewing time.  Just walking around the Puyallup Fairgounds is exercise and I'm counting that too.

Tuesday - Sew and exercise
Wednesday - Sew and exercise
Thursday - Sew and exercise
Friday -  Nada - tired out
Saturday -  Sew and exercise
Sunday -  Sew
Monday - Sew

Go on over to Kate's "Life in Pieces" and see how everyone else has been doing last week with their "15 Minute Challenge".   Ooops - was I still tired?  I forgot to put myself on her linky and I did that on one other site too.

February 28th ~ 15 Minute Challenge

Not as much time spent in the studio as I had planned, but I got in there more often this past week and did get a little more sewing and embroidery accomplished. And, I started to exercise again, at least it is a start for now, I'm going to really have to work at it.  Next week isn't looking like I'll get much done since I'm going to SewExpo for four days of classes.

February 14th ~ 15 minutes of Sewing

Another week has flown bye.   I worked on several things during the week but not with enthusiasm.  Was it the rainy days?   I want to get back to those projects now so maybe this week will be better.  Why is starting projects so much more fun?   I'm always glad when a project is finished too.  Gotta go sew now.

Tuesday -   Nothing today
Wednesday -  Working
Thursday -  Attended classes, no time in sewing studio
Friday -   Nothing
Saturday -   Nope didn't sew again

February 7th ~ 15 minutes of Sewing

Some weeks are better than others.  I felt like I was still fighting off a cold, so I took it easy. Thursday I missed or should I say spaced off my quilt guild meeting.  Hubby thinks it was better I didn't attend since I was so tired.  Took it easy over the weekend.

Tuesday -  Digitizing samples for class.  Shop for fabric on line, not what I needed in stash.
Wednesday -  Finish digitizing for class.
Thursday -  Went to store and found fabric for new project.
Friday -  Pre-wash the red fabric
Saturday -  None  Shopping with DH
Sunday -  None  Watch the Super bowl - yeah, OK I'm a football fan too, time well spent with Hubby
Monday -  Ironing pre-washed fabrics

Go on over to Kate's "Life in Pieces" and see how everyone else has been doing last week.

January 31st ~ 15 minutes of sewing

I just got the project for weekend classes.  I won't have time to get it sewn, but will learn the digitizing. Then the new project started for the store for next week can be started.  Then it was put on hold.  Now I'm in waiting to find out  what to do next.

So here is my report.

Thursday - 1 hour.  Working for weekend classes.
Friday -  None.  Working today

January 17th ~ 15 minutes of sewing

I thought the challenge of trying to spend at least 15 minutes in my sewing studio every day seemed like a really good idea.   (I still have a hard time calling it my sewing studio - why is that?)  I think if I can get just a little sewing each day that I will get more done, even if it is only mending or ironing chores.  This is the first week that I'm taking part in this challenge.  It's a start.  So here goes.

Tuesday  -  ahh, mending
Wednesday  -  nothing
Thursday  -  nothing
Friday  -  nothing
Saturday  -  stop bringing me things to be fixed!
Sunday -  ironing
Monday - organizing projects

Go on over to Kate's  "Life in Pieces" and see how everyone else has been doing last week.
